Hans van der Stok
Hans has had a great affinity with technology and technical products since secondary school. Hans founded Maestr in 2011. Initially, the focus was on the integration of audio and video in real estate. Soon he came into contact with more aspects of intelligent building technology. Hans developed into an all-round home automation specialist. He knows all the possibilities in the field of home automation and is familiar with the latest options. Maestr built up a partnership with Gira under his leadership. This is the leading brand for switchgear and advanced home automation components. Maestr now has one of the two official Gira studios in the Netherlands. Before Hans founded Maestr, he studied at the University of Groningen and worked for some time as a consultant.
Wilfred Castricum
Wilfred has an electrical engineering background. He gained several years of experience at a large electrical installation company as a project manager. He then worked as a system integrator. Wilfred eventually started his own business as a system integrator and programmer. He specialized as a self-employed person in the application of KNX building management systems. These are all-in-one home automation systems. Wilfred worked extensively and successfully with Hans at Maestr in this role, which led to co-ownership. Wilfred is responsible within Maestr for managing the team of programmers.
Erik van Dodewaard
Erik was almost literally spoon-fed electrical engineering. His father and grandfather were electrical engineers. Erik learned the trade by working four days and going to school one day. He more than earned his spurs as an installer at various companies. He then became co-owner of his own family business Hartog Elektro, which has been in existence for 80 years. Erik took over the family business in 2016 and took the step in 2022 to integrate Hartog Elektro into Maestr. With the integration of Hartog Elektro, Maestr can also install and maintain any home automation solution in-house.
